A one-mile light trail set to music at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, with the Winter Cathedral and a field of lit bluebonnets. Timed tickets, about 90 minutes.
Fort Worth Botanic Garden's holiday light trail runs for about a mile through the garden, set to holiday music. The best-known pieces are the Winter Cathedral installation and a field of lit Texas bluebonnets. Allow about 90 minutes, and Santa is there nightly until Christmas Eve.
Entry is timed every 15 minutes from 5:30 pm. Prices follow peak, standard and off-peak nights: last season adults paid $20 to $34 in advance and children 3 to 12 paid $13 to $22, and it cost $5 more on the day. Parking is paid separately ($20–$25 in advance), and cash is not accepted.
The garden closes at 4 pm on event days and reopens at 5 pm for ticket holders only, so you can't stay on from a day visit.
