Dewberry Farm, off FM 362 in Brookshire west of Katy, is one of the largest farm parks around Houston. In the holiday season it runs "A Berry Merry Christmas": a hay-wagon ride along a trail of lights, a separate walk-through light display, visits with Santa and dozens of farm attractions. A few extras, such as the train and pony rides, cost more on top of the ticket.
The farm also sells Christmas trees, both cut-your-own and pre-cut. Tickets are dated and sold online, and weekends close to Christmas sell out, so book ahead. Parking is free and children 2 and under get in free.
