Small cut-your-own Christmas tree farm in Hockley, northwest of Houston, with hayrides and a petting area.
Family Roots TX is a newer family farm on Becker Road in Hockley, in the Waller County countryside northwest of Cypress. It is a member of the Texas Christmas Tree Growers Association and offers choose-and-cut trees along with hayrides, a petting area, wreaths and garlands, snacks and a picnic spot.
The farm closed for the 2025 season to let its fields recover, so check its website for 2026 opening days before you drive out.
