Galaxy Lights is Space Center Houston's holiday event: a walking trail of space-themed light displays around the center's grounds in Clear Lake, next to NASA's Johnson Space Center. Plan on about 90 minutes.
Your ticket also gets you into the space center's indoor exhibitions, which makes it better value than a lights-only show, especially for kids who like rockets. Two things are closed during Galaxy Lights: the NASA Tram Tour and the Starship Gallery, so come on a separate day if those are what you want to see.
It opens on select nights only, so check the calendar before you pick a date. Prices change with demand, so weeknights are usually cheapest. Members get a preview night on November 13, and there are sensory-friendly nights with lower prices.
